mumamoo is passionate about providing infants and toddlers with the highest quality, scientifically developed formula. We are proudly 100% Australian owned and all our manufacturing (formula, tins, lids, scoops, cartons) happens right here in Australia.

mumamoo is formulated using milk from grass fed, free-range cows. We include a unique combination of 5 premium ingredients to meet the demanding growth and development of your little ones: Omega 3 & 6, prebiotics & probiotics, nucleotides and up to 25 essential vitamins & minerals.

Our formula has been developed in conjunction with leading paediatric nutritionists to ensure compliance with current Australian nutritional requirements and guidelines.

mumamoo is a trusted, all Australian brand, owned by Mums. We have developed a formula we would feed our own children. From our families to yours!

mumamoo infant and toddler formula begins with a cow’s milk base that has had some of its protein removed, making it easier for baby tummies to digest. mumamoo is then fortified with extra nutritional elements, blending fats, proteins, carbohydrates, essential vitamins and minerals. mumamoo also contains a unique combination of added premium ingredients to support growth & development, including Omega 3 & 6, Prebiotics & Probiotics and Nucleotides (a DNA building block found in breastmilk) in our Stage 1 and 2 products. We manufacture in a state of the art highly mechanised, robotic facility right here in Australia – not offshore like many other brands. All Australian milk formula is highly regulated to comply with the standards set by Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ), so you can rest assured that mumamoo is of the highest quality and is safe for your little ones.

Before switching formula, it is important to contact your GP or Health Care professional for advice, particularly if your baby has specific nutritional needs, low birth weight or is premature.  Formulas vary in taste so it can take time for you little one to get used to a new brand. A baby’s tummy is very sensitive so a slow and gentle change between formula brands is recommended. Please refer to this post in our mumamoo milk blog for more information on assisting your baby with a smooth formula transition.

Both breastmilk and cow’s milk include Whey and Casein protein. Whilst the ratio of Whey/Casein varies, the average ratio in breastmilk is 60% Whey and 40% Casein during early lactation. This then decreases to approximately 50% Whey and 50% Casein in late lactation.

We have reflected this in our formulation and then carefully adjusted ratios based on babies’ dietary needs and requirements as they grow. All mumamoo formulas are formulated to Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code.

mumamoo Protein Ratio’s

Stage 1 Premium Infant Formula (0-6 Months): Whey 60%, Casein 40%

Stage 2 Premium Follow-on Formula (6-12 months): Whey 50%, Casein 50%

Stage 3 Toddler Milk Drink (1-3 years): Whey 40%, Casein 60%

Yes, we use Palm oil (PO) in our formula as it is the closest ingredient to achieve palmitic acid (PA) levels similar to those in human milk. Palm oil is one of the few vegetable oils that's naturally rich in saturated fat. Most other vegetable oils are rich in monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats.

Sustainability is core to our strategy and we only use palm oil from sustainable sources. Our supplier is a member of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), a non-profit organisation set up by World Wildlife Fund (WWF) to promote the growth and use of sustainable palm oil products.
